Ayatul’Kursi – Surat Al Baqarah verse 255 (http://quran.com/2/255)

Ayatul’Kursi contains so many blessings, is so powerful, and offers a vast amount of protection, read it after every Fard (mandatory) salat (prayer), and before you sleep

`He said to me: Whenever you go to bed, recite Ayat Al-Kursi from the beginning to the end, Allahu la ilaha illa Huwal-Hayyul-Qayyum. He further said to me: (If you do so), Allah will appoint a guard for you who will stay with you, and no Shaytan will come near you until morning.’… [AL-Bukhari ; An-Nasa’i also recorded this Hadith in Al-Yawm wa Al-Laylah. ]

“Whoever recites Aaayat ul-Kursi immediately after each prescribed Prayer, there will be nothing standing between him and his entering Paradise except death.” [Narrated by an-Nasaaee. Imaam Al-Albaanee authenticated it in Saheeh al Jam i as-Sagheer : 6464]

Last two verses of Surat Al Baqarah verses 285 and 286 (http://quran.com/2/285-286)

A treasure from beneath the throne of Allah, a gift from Allah.  It should be recited along with Ayatul’Kursi before sleeping

The Prophet said: “If somebody recites the last two verses of Chapter Al-Baqarah at night, that will be sufficient for him.” [Al-Bukhaari and Muslim]

Prophet Muhammed said: “Recite the last two verses from Surat Al-Baqarah, for I was given them from a treasure trove beneath the Throne” (Ahmad)

It is reported on the authority of Ali that he said: “I do not consider it fitting for anyone who has understood Islam to sleep (at night) until he has recited Ayatul Kursi and the ending of Surat Al-Baqarah, for they are a gift to your Prophet from the treasure which lies beneath the Throne.” (Narrated by Ibn Mardawaih)

Surat Al Kahf Chapter 18 (http://quran.com/18)

Recite Surat Al Kahf on Fridays to receive Allah’s light on the day of resurrection, to be forgiven between the two Fridays, and as a protection from Dajjal.

The hadith related by Hakim and Bayhaqi, from Abu Sa`id (Allah be pleased with him), “Whoever recites Surat al-Kahf on Friday, light shall shine forth for him between the two Fridays”. [Ibn Hajar, Talkhis al-Habir]

It was narrated that Ibn ‘Umar (may Allaah be pleased with him) said: “The Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: ‘Whoever reads Soorat al-Kahf on the day of Jumu’ah, a light will shine for him from beneath his feet to the clouds of the sky, which will shine for him on the Day of Resurrection, and he will be forgiven (his sins) between the two Fridays.’”

Abu al-Darda (Allah be pleased with him) related that the Prophet of Allah (Allah bless him & give him peace) said, Whoever commits ten verses from the beginning Surat al-Kahf will be protected from the Dajjal. [Muslim, Abu Dawud, Nasai, and others; the wording is Muslims]

In a narration in Muslim and Abu Dawud it states, From the end of Surat al-Kahf. Tirmidhi related is with the words, Whoever recites three verses from the beginning of al-Kahf will be protected from the tribulations of the Dajjal. [Mundhiri, al-Targhib wal Tarhib, #2172-2173]

Imam Shafi`i (Allah have mercy on him) said in his UmmIt has reached us that whoever recites Surat al-Kahf on Fridays will be protected from the Dajjal. [Shafi`i, al-Umm, 1.239]

Surat As Sajdah Chapter 32 (http://quran.com/32)

The Prophet would not sleep until he recited Surah as Sajdah. [at-Tirmidhi 5/165; Hakim 2/412 & Dhahabi in Sahih al Jamiea (22/789)]

Surat Ya Sin Chapter 36 (http://quran.com/36)

The Prophet said, ‘Whoever recited Surah Yasin in the night seeking Allah’s pleasure, Allah would forgive him’[Ibn Hibban, Darimi 3283/A, Abu Yala, Tabarani, Baihaqi & Ibn Mardawaih]

The Prophet (SalAllahu alayhi wasalam) said, ‘Whoever recites Yasin once Allah will record the reward of reciting the Qur’an ten times.’[Maqal, Tirmidhi 2812/A & Dhahabi]

Surat Al Waqi’ah Chapter 56 (http://quran.com/56)

The Prophet said, ‘Whoever recites surah al Waqiah at night would never encounter poverty’ [Ibn Sunni 620]

The Prophet said, ‘Surah al Waqiah is the Surah of Wealth, so recite it and teach it to your children’[Ibn Asakir]

Surat Al Mulk Chapter 67 (http://quran.com/67)

The Prophet said, ‘There is a surah in the Qur’an which is only thirty verses. It defended whoever recited it , until it puts him into paradise ‘ i.e.Surah al Mulk [Fath al Qadir 5/257, Sahihul Jamiea 1/680, Tabrani inAl-Awsat & Ibn Mardawaith]
